WELCOME TO VECTIS EQUESTRIAN CLUB!
Vectis Equestrian Club was established in the early 1980s and is still going strong.
We hold many events held throughout the year to cater for all levels of rider and horse on the Isle of Wight. In 2024 we have show jumping, dressage, combined training, spider rides & Arena Eventing planned (see Events Diary). Members that attend our local events have the chance to compete at Area events, as part of Team Vectis or an individual.
The club holds regular training sessions with Robert Booth at Island Riding Centre [IRC], Froghill or Rodgebrook Stables, Porchfield. We welcome Juniors and look forward to seeing them progress and enjoying part of the club.
Our club is affiliated to British Riding Clubs (BRC) and comes under Area 17. We send teams and individual riders to Area Qualifier competitions in dressage, dressage to music, show jumping, arena eventing and horse trials - often with great success and a lot of fun. The club has been represented at National Championship level and we look forward to supporting our teams and individuals again in 2024!
