WELCOME TO VECTIS EQUESTRIAN CLUB!
Vectis Equestrian Club was established in the early 1980s and is still going strong.
We hold many events held throughout the year to cater for all levels of rider and horse on the Isle of Wight for example in 2023 we have show jumping, dressage most months, combined training, spider rides. Members that attend local events also have the chance to compete at Area events as part of Team Vectis or an individual.
The club also holds regular evening training sessions with Robert Booth at Island Riding Centre [IRC], Froghill and Rodgebrook. We welcome Juniors and look forward to seeing them progress and enjoying part of the club.
Our club is affiliated to British Riding Clubs (BRC) and comes under Area 17. We send teams and individual riders to Area Qualifier competitions in dressage, dressage to music, show jumping, arena eventing and horse trials often with great success and a lot of fun. The club has been represented at National Championship level many times and hopefully many more times in the future. 2022 saw our Junior Team win the 70cm National Championship at Lincoln.
